New weekly podcast @ Houston Chronicle

I just rearranged and added some new links.

Under "Press, Radio & Podcasts" you'll find new links to Sara Cress and Joey Guerra's excellent local band coverage for the Houston Chronicle. They just started a new weekly podcast that looks very cool. Keep an eye on these two, they're doing some great work for the Houston scene.

There's now over 5200 friends on our MySpace profile. That's probably more than you could shake a stick at (although I understand some of y'all are very talented with sticks). We never cease to be amazed about how many new fans we find on MySpace, all across the country and around the world.

Ya'll remember James? He saw Flogging Molly recently in the Northeast and had this to say:

"At the part in Seven Deadly Sins where it says "blaggards to the bone," he (Dave King) looked right at me. Well I had my BLAGGARDS shirt on and I kind of lifted it up and pointed to it. He saw it and started laughing and then walked over to the front of the stage and reached down and shook my hand. It was a great show, you guys are going to have an awesome time."

Shite'n'Onions Release Party in BOSTON, MA

BLAGGARDS appear on the new compilation CD from Shite'n'Onions, What The Shite: Shite'n'Onions Volume 2, due out February 21. Also on this CD is a song from our friends The Kissers, along with selections from 17 other Irish/Celtic rock and punk bands.

ALSO next month, Saturday, March 11, we're playing the release party for this disc at Copperfield's in Boston, MA. This show will kick-off our St. Paddy's Day 2006 Tour down the East Coast, with shows in New York, NY, Long Beach, NY, and several dates around the Philadelphia area.

Can't wait to hit the road!
